Join us in raising money to support cancer research while enjoying a meal at the Northwood Kensett High School basketball game cafeteria at 5:00 PM on Friday. For $7, choose from a baked potato bar or walking tacos. The evening will feature matches by the Coaches vs. Cancer teams and other special events. The Junior/Senior School is located at 704 Seventh St. N. in Northwood.

Art exhibition
The Albert Lee Art Center continues its annual All-Member Show. 16 artists will showcase his 45 works in a variety of mediums, with Jacob Schlichter and Nicole Morrison debuting as new members. The center is located at 101 S. Broadway, and the show runs through February 16th.

The Brookside Education Center will be hosting “Vision Boards Law of Attraction with Pam Schmidt” on Thursdays from 6:30-8:00 pm. Creating a vision board can help you identify, clarify, focus, and maintain your specific life goals. Vision boards help people focus on their values, appreciations, and lifestyle choices, making them an effective tool for true adjustment and change. Bring poster boards, magazines, images, words, scissors, glue sticks, sharpies, glitter sequins, stickers, paper edgers, scissors, anything that inspires you. The Albert Lea Public Library hosts music and exercise classes on Thursdays at 10am. Engage in music, dance, songs and stories to support literacy development and learning in young children.
