MUMBAI: During Grammy Award winner Enrique Iglesias’ packed concert in Mumbai on Wednesday evening, 73 mobile phones worth Rs 23.85 lakh were stolen at the MMRDA ground in Bandra Kurla Complex, leading to seven FIR registrations.The victims of the theft included diverse attendees – a makeup artist, hotelier, students, a journalist and businessmen, who had paid a minimum ticket price of Rs 7,000 for the event.

The 50-year-old Spanish pop singer performed for 90 minutes, entertaining over 25,000 fans in Mumbai’s commercial hub with his debut performance.Iglesias treated the audience to his classic hits including ‘Hero’ and ‘Bailamos’, creating a nostalgic atmosphere for thousands of fans.The concert, while successful in terms of attendance and performance, was marred by these multiple theft incidents that affected several concertgoers.
