IPO rush ahead! Five issues to hit the market eyeing Rs 10,000-crore — What investors should know

IPO street will remain crowded in the upcoming week as investors brace for a heavy line-up of five IPOs scheduled to open between November 11 and 14. The primary market is set for an active spell, with three issues hitting the mainboard and two launches on the SME platform. In total, the companies are aiming to raise more than Rs 10,000 crore, reflecting continued strength in fundraising activity.Here are the IPOs that investors should look out for:PhysicsWallahThe biggest draw is expected to be PhysicsWallah, the edtech company preparing to launch a Rs 3,480 crore issue on November 11. Shares will be available within a price band of Rs 103–109, and the bidding window will end on November 13. Once closed, the stock will be listed on the BSE and NSE.Kotak Mahindra Capital is leading the issue, ET reported. Funds raised are earmarked for scaling up the company’s technology infrastructure, opening new learning centres, and pursuing acquisitions to support expansion.Tenneco Clean Air IndiaThe Tenneco Clean Air India, is a subsidiary of global automotive components giant Tenneco Inc. Its Rs 3,600 crore IPO, scheduled from November 12 and November 14, will be offered entirely through an offer for sale. Shares are priced between Rs 378–397, with JM Financial managing the offering.The company specialises in emission-control and powertrain solutions for both passenger and commercial vehicles. Early demand appears strong, and the issue is currently commanding a grey market premium of about 24%, according to ET. The stock will be listed on the BSE and NSE.Emmvee Photovoltaic PowerThe third mainboard listing is from the renewable energy space. Emmvee Photovoltaic Power, a solar panel manufacturer, will accept bids from November 11 to 13, with pricing set in the Rs 206–217 band. The company is planning to raise Rs 2,900 crore, which will be handled by JM Financial. The shares will also debut on both the NSE and BSE exchanges.

SME platform: Two smaller issues to watch

Mahamaya LifesciencesOn the SME side, Mahamaya Lifesciences, a specialty pharmaceutical firm, opens its issue on November 11 and closes on November 13. It aims to raise Rs 70.44 crore, at a price band of Rs 108–114, with Oneview Corporate as the lead manager. The listing is planned on the BSE SME platform.Workmates Core2Cloud SolutionThe second SME IPO, Workmates Core2Cloud Solution, specialises in cloud services, cybersecurity, and data management. Its public offering, worth Rs 69.84 crore, will be open from November 11 and November 13, with shares priced between Rs 200–204. Horizon Management is managing the issue, and the company will also list on the BSE SME platform.With multiple subscription windows opening within just four days, the market will be tested for liquidity and appetite. The combined fundraising of over Rs 10,000 crore highlights how active this phase of the primary market has become, spanning sectors from education and clean energy to automotive technology and pharma.
