Indian Railways increases frequency of Gujarat’s 1st Amrit Bharat train; ticket booking opens on Nov 16 – check route, fare, stoppages

Amrit Bharat Express, Gujarat Amrit Bharat train: For the convenience of passengers and to meet the rising travel demand, Indian Railways (IR) has increased the frequency of Gujarat‘s first Amrit Bharat Express train. Flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 27, 2025, this train has enhanced economic and industrial connectivity by linking key mineral, textile and trade hubs, supporting business and workforce movement.

Gujarat’s first Amrit Bharat Express train runs between Udhna (Surat) and Brahmapur in Odisha. It connects multiple key districts across Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Gujarat. The Udhna-Brahmapur-Udhna Amrit Bharat Express run as train number 19021/19022.

Udhna to Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express: Stoppages

During its journey between Brahmapur and Udhna (Surat), this Amrit Bharat Express train stops at major stations including Palasa, Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Titlagarh, Raipur, Nagpur, Bhusaval and Nandurbar. Apart from these, the train will also stop at Srikakulam, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Sungarpur road, Muniguda, Kesinga, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Mahasamund, Lakholi, Durg, Gondia, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Malkapur, Jalgaon, Dharangaon, Amalner, Sindkheda, Dondaicha, Navapur, Vyara and Bardoli.

Udhna to Brahmapur Amrit Bharat train: Coach composition

The Udhna to Brahmapur Amrit Bharat train consists of 22 coaches including General Second Class sitting- 11 coaches, Sleeper Class-08 coaches, Second class cum luggage van- 02 coaches and Pantry Car-01.

Udhna to Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express train frequency

Since its launch, the Udhna–Brahmapur–Udhna Amrit Bharat Express operated once a week. However, Indian Railways has now increased its frequency, and the train will run three times a week, beginning November 19.

Udhna to Brahmapur Amrit Bharat Express ticket price

The booking for Train number 19021 will open from November 16, 2025 at all PRS counters and on the IRCTC website. The Sleeper Class fare for travelling between Udhna Junction and Brahmapur on the Amrit Bharat Express is Rs 795.
