The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) has released the Class 10 and Class 12 date sheets for the 2026 board exams. The HP board Class 10 and Class 12 exams will begin on March 3. While Class 10 exams will continue till March 28, the Class 12 HP board 2026 exams will end on April 1.
The board has released the exam dates of regular and state open school (SOS) for the 2026 annual, compartment, grade improvement and additional subject exams.

The Class 10 exams will start with the English paper on the first day and end with the Social Science paper. The Class 12 exam, will begin with the Sanskrit paper on the first day and end with the music paper on the last day of the exam.
The Class 12 practical examination including project work in the subject of accountancy of all regular as well as SOS candidates will be conducted before the theory examination at their respective schools and affiliated institutions between February 20 and February 28, 2026.
All candidates are advised to contact the principal at their institution on or before February 18, 2026 to know the subject-wise date and time for their practical exams.
The Practical examination of vocational (NSQF subjects of regular candidates will be conducted internally by the concerned schools as per the Programme to be fixed by the SPD (ISSE).
