Days after Lok Sabha LoP Rahul Gandhi alleged that PM Narendra Modi-led NDA government was going against “tradition” and doesn’t want him or a representative of the Opposition to meet Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to India because of its “insecurity”, BJP hit back Saturday terming Gandhi as “immature”, “untruthful”, who “sees his own interest before India’s interest” and has “proven to be the weakest link for India”.

On Friday, Congress confirmed neither Gandhi nor LoP in Rajya Sabha and Congress chief, Mallikarjun Kharge, was invited to the banquet hosted for Putin at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

BJP national spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia said Saturday: “Today, Rahul Gandhi has proven to be the weakest link for India, sometimes appearing to play into the hands of George Soros and at other times furthering Pakistan’s agenda.” “The person who keeps demanding his rights and talks about giving rights, why does he never talk about his duties?”
