MI vs GG, WPL 2026 Highlights: Captain Harmanpreet Kaur anchored a record chase for the Mumbai Indians as they condemned the Gujarat Giants to their first loss of the season. Harmanpreet finished unbeaten on 71 off 43 balls as MI chased down a target of 193 with seven wickets to spare. While MI didn’t have the greatest of powerplays, Harmanpreet’s partnership in the middle overs with Amanjot Kaur brought them back on par with the required run rate. Nicola Carey then gave the chase a big boost and finished unbeaten on 38 off 23 balls, with her stand with Harmanpreet ending on 84 off 43.

Bharti Fulmali’s incredible late salvo propelled Gujarat Giants past 190 against the Mumbai Indians, thus helping them set a target of 193. Fulmali finished unbeaten on 36 in just 15 balls as GG finished with a score of 192/5 in 20 overs. This somewhat undid the vice grip that MI had GG in for much of the middle overs and at the death. Beth Mooney and Kanika Ahuja put up an early charge which allowed the Gujarat Giants to smash 62 runs in the powerplay against the Mumbai Indians.
