Dhurandhar worldwide box office collection: Aditya Dhar’s spy thriller Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh, may have finally begun slowing down. As it went past its seventh weekend at the domestic box office, it registered its lowest single-day earnings yet on its seventh Monday, its 46th day since release. The figure is still above a crore, yet lower than its previous lowest low, Rs 1.75 crore, on last Friday. Dhurandhar net box office collection stands at Rs 881 crore as per early estimates while globally it has earned over Rs 1330 crore

Dhurandhar box office collection till now

On Monday (day 46) at the domestic box office, Dhurandhar earned Rs 1.40 crore. This was quite a decline (63%) from its Sunday (day 45) collection of Rs 3.75 crore. That was a minor improvement on its Saturday (day 44) earnings of Rs 3 crore, a 71% increase from its Friday (day 43) collection of Rs 1.75 crore.

Prior to that, Dhurandhar had earned Rs 26.35 crore in its sixth week at the domestic box office, an almost 50% drop from its week 5 collection of Rs 51.25 crore. That was also almost a 50% fall from its week 4 earnings of Rs 106.50 crore. Before that, the film amassed Rs 172 crore in week 3, Rs 253.25 crore in week 2, and Rs 207.25 crore in its opening week, as per Sacnilk.

Dhurandhar eyes Rs 900 cr club

As per Jio Studios, Dhurandhar has earned Rs 878.75 crore after 46 days at the box office in India. While it’s started to show a downward trend now, the makers have announced another ticket price offer for Tuesday, its 47th day at the domestic box office. The tickets have been priced at a reduced fare of Rs 149, only for a day.

This may help Dhurandhar redeem a few more crores this week as it competes with Vir Das and Kavi Shastri’s action comedy Happy Patel: Khatarnaak Jasoos. The latter, backed by Aamir Khan Productions, however earned only Rs 40 lakh on its first Monday, Rs 1 crore less than what the Ranveer Singh-starrer made on the same day.

The major roadblock for Dhurandhar’s path to the unprecedented Rs 900 crore club would present itself in the form of Border 2 this Friday 0n January 23. A sequel to JP Dutta’s 1997 cult period war drama Border, it also marks the return of Sunny Deol to the franchise, in addition to new cast members like Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty.
