Bharti Airtel Ltd’s consolidated net income for third quarter ended December 31, 2025 grew 25% to ₹6,920 crore. Consolidated net profit of the entire group was down from nearly 55%, due to charges linked to complying with the recently notified Labour Codes; the high ₹14,781.2 crore consolidated figure was also thanks to an increase in the valuation of Indus Towers, of which Airtel owns over a third. Consolidated global revenue stood at ₹53,982 crore.

The firm also grew its average revenue per user (ARPU) on the back of tariff hikes over the last year. ARPU now stands at ₹259 per user. Airtel has cited “premiumization” as a priority, getting relatively well-off subscribers to pay for more expensive plans. The firm also added 52 lakh subscribers on a quarter-on-quarter basis, and 2.08 crore year-on-year.

The homes business, which includes fixed line broadband and direct-to-home (DTH) satellite TV, has grown 32.6% in revenues, as the firm added over 11 lakh new customers in this segment in this quarter, “driven by deeper coverage and market expansion,” it said. This addition is the highest in any quarter, Airtel said.

“We continue to fortify our leadership in the postpaid segment with net additions of 0.62 Mn customers to reach a total customer base of 28.1 million,” the firm said. “Our balance sheet strength, reinforced by strong cash generation and sustained deleveraging, positions us well to invest in new growth opportunities,” Airtel’s newly appointed Executive Vice Chairman and CEO until end of last year Gopal Vittal said in a statement.
