BENGALURU: A love triangle involving a girl and two youngsters ended in the murder of one in Jayanagar Wednesday night.The victim is Kiran Gowda, 20, a resident of Jayanagar III Block. The girl, Divya, 19, has been arrested and her friend Jeevan, 20, admitted to hospital after he sustained injuries in the scuffle.
Divya, a beautician, and Kiran, a delivery boy with an online grocery firm, were friends since school days. She was in love with Jeevan for many years and they broke up seven months ago. She then began a relationship with Kiran.Police said Divya called Kiran near a paying guest accommodation around 9.30pm. When he reached the spot, he got into a fight with Jeevan and his friends. Jeevan took a knife and fatally stabbed Kiran on the chest.Body found in ditchResidents panicked when the highly decomposed body of an unidentified man was found in a ditch along their apartment complex at Sapthagiri Layout in Hosakerehalli, south Bengaluru, Thursday evening.The security guard of the complex found the body of the man — suspected to be aged around 50 years. Cops suspect he must have slipped and fallen into the ditch while urinating.
