They Call Him OG Telugu Movie Review, Box Office Collection Day 1 Live Updates: Actor-politician Pawan Kalyan has redeemed himself following the colossal failure of Hari Hara Veera Mallu: Part 1 earlier this year. Fans of the “Power Star” have turned the release of director Sujeeth’s They Call Him OG into a monumental affair, ensuring that it receives an unprecedented opening. On Day 1, OG grossed over Rs 154 crore at the worldwide box office.

On Friday, production house DVV Entertainment took to X and wrote, “Idhi Pawan Kalyan Cinema…#OG Erases History. Worldwide Day 1 Gross – 154 Cr+. #BoxOfficeDestructorOG #TheyCallHimOG.”

They Call Him OG opened to mixed reviews on Thursday. An excerpt from SCREEN’s review of the Pawan film read, “They Call Him OG is an entertaining film made for hardcore fans, by a hardcore fan himself. Yet, in that pursuit, Sujeeth forgoes the opportunity to take a few risks, and he only goes so far as charming us with his (and his team’s) technical brilliance.”

Bankrolled by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under the banner of DVV Entertainment, OG also features Priyanka Arul Mohan, Arjun Das, Sriya Reddy, and Prakash Raj in key roles. The movie boasts music by Thaman S, cinematography by Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa, editing by Navin Nooli, and production design by AS Prakash.
