NEW DELHI: Mumbai woke up to heavy overnight showers on Sunday, with the IMD Colaba observatory recording 120.8 mm of rainfall in the 24 hours ending 8.30 am. In comparison, the Santacruz observatory recorded 83.8 mm during the same period. Waterlogging has been reported in several parts of the city, including the Andheri subway, where traffic has been diverted.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation.” The rain is expected to intensify later in the day, likely causing further waterlogging, traffic snarls, and disruptions to local train services.
