Akasa Air is planning to launch an IPO in the next 2-5 years, CEO Vinay Dube said on Wednesday (October 29, 2025).

The 30-aircraft strong airline that launched flight operations 3 years ago is also grappling with hundreds of pilots grounded due to delay in deliveries, but the CEO said all its pilots will start accruing flying hours in the next β€œ30-60” days.

β€œThe airline will also restart hiring First Officers in the second half of 2026,” Mr. Dube said at AviationIndiaSummit.
