BMW Group India has launched all-new MINI Convertible at an ex-showroom price of ₹58.50 lakh.

The car will be available in the country as a completely built-up unit (CBU) and can be booked at all MINI India authorized dealerships. Deliveries for the same will commence immediately.

“MINI isn’t just a car, it is a statement on wheels— a perfectly proportioned, instantly recognisable antidote to the ordinary,” the company said.

Hardeep Singh Brar, president and CEO, BMW Group India said, “At MINI, we believe life is too short for boring cars, which is why every MINI is built to stand out and deliver big smiles. It’s a life style car and we are not looking at high volumes.”

He said, cumulatively 7,500 cars have been sold since 2012.

As demand for the MINI has been growing from tier 2 cities, the company has decided to open 8 new showrooms in Tier 2 cities like Surat and Jaipur.

“The brand’s open character quite literally translates to life in the all-new MINI Convertible. Think top down and the best experience awaits you with this car. The all-new MINI Convertible fires up the hallmark go-kart driving thrills, with looks that turn heads and emotions that mirror an ‘always open’ spirit,” he said.

“With its iconic design, modern technology and connectivity, it’s an uber stylish product for those who live in the moment and leave a mark wherever they go. So don’t wait anymore, MINI Convertible is open for fun,” he added.

The all-new MINI Convertible will be available in four striking colours – British Racing Green, Chili Red, Sunny Side Yellow and Ocean Wave Green.

Price prevailing at the time of invoicing will be applicable, the company said.
