    CHICAGO, January 24, 2023 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Hamelin® Oil-Dri’s Animal Health Business, International® Corporation of America, a global leader in mineral-based feed additives that optimize gut health in poultry and livestock, announced the appointment of Chris Dyer as Sales Director, North America. In this role, Chris will drive Amlan’s development strategy and deliver mineral-based solutions to customers in the United States and Canada. His Chris expertise in poultry production and veterinary drug sales focuses on Amlan’s recent organizational growth and future sustained success in the North American market.

    “We have been impressed with Chris’ strong track record in customer relationship development and the sales excellence he brings to Amlan. It will be the key to making it available to growers,” said Heath Wessels, Vice President of Sales, Americas. “The market is eager for natural products to maximize profitability in poultry and livestock as customers demand high-quality animal protein. It helps demonstrate the high value of mineral-based products and demonstrate how natural feed additives can benefit their businesses.”

    Chris has over 35 years of experience in the poultry industry and started his career as a hatchery and production manager. He led his team of regional account managers in the United States and Canada and was responsible for medicated feed additives, biologics, and bio-devices for his business’s multi-million dollar programs. From there, Chris took leadership roles in major poultry production operations, overseeing parent stock breeder sales in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Central America.

    “The Americas account for 41% of global broiler meat production and Amlan’s mineral-based feed additives like Sorbiam™ continue to demonstrate their effectiveness in this growing market,” said International. “Chris’ business his unit His experience as a leader and his strong relationships are consistent with his organizational commitment to ensuring Amlan’s continued growth in the North American region. I am thrilled to join.”

    Chris holds numerous management certifications through the Strategic Account Management Association. He graduated from the University of Georgia with a BA in Agriculture.
