NEW DELHI: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday extended warm greetings to party workers on the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Foundation Day, lauding their dedication and reaffirming the party’s commitment to development and public welfare.In a post on X, PM Modi said the party has consistently upheld the principle of “India First” and remains at the forefront of serving society. He praised BJP workers for their selfless service, grassroots outreach, and commitment to good governance, while remembering those whose sacrifice and perseverance contributed to the party’s growth.

“Warm greetings to all BJP Karyakartas across the nation on the party’s Sthapana Diwas. Our Party has always been at the forefront of serving society, guided by the principle of India First. Our Karyakartas are known for their selfless service, unwavering dedication and a deep passion towards good governance. They have worked tirelessly at the grassroots, ensuring maximum people are connected to our ideology and work. We also remember the countless workers whose dedication, sacrifice and perseverance have shaped the party’s growth over decades,” said PM Modi. “The BJP stands as a party that places well-being of people at the centre of its vision. This is reflected in our work at the Centre and in various states. BJP remains committed to building a Viksit Bharat. May our collective resolve continue to drive this vision forward and take India to new heights of progress and prosperity,” he added.Senior leaders also marked the occasion, highlighting the party’s ideological roots and evolution into what they described as the world’s largest political organisation.Union home minister Amit Shah said the BJP’s formation was not just a political development but a pledge for national reconstruction, inspired by Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Deendayal Upadhyay. He added that under PM Modi’s leadership, the party has advanced the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas” and strengthened democratic governance.BJP president J. P. Nadda paid tribute to the party’s founding figures and workers, saying their efforts had elevated the organisation to the forefront of national politics. He emphasised the party’s focus on “Antyodaya” and inclusive development, and reiterated its goal of building a developed, self-reliant India by 2047.Union ministers Kiren Rijiju and Nitin Gadkari also extended greetings, crediting the dedication of party workers for the BJP’s growth into a major political force.
