Complaint filed against Bigg Boss Kannada 12 Contestant Gilli Nata at Karnataka state women’s commission

A complaint has been formally lodged with the Karnataka State Women’s Commission against Bigg Boss Kannada 12 contestant Gilli Nata, bringing renewed attention to an incident that reportedly took place inside the reality show’s house two weeks ago. The issue, which initially seemed like a routine disagreement between contestants, has now escalated into a matter requiring legal examination.

Background of the Incident

Gilli Nata, one of the most prominent and entertaining contestants this season, is widely recognised for his wit, humour and impromptu comic timing. His light-hearted nature has earned him a loyal fan base. However, the recent complaint alleges behaviour that contradicts the public image he has built on the show. The incident in question occurred during a domestic task when Gilli asked fellow contestant Risha Gowda for a bucket of hot water. When she delayed handing it over, he allegedly remarked, “If you don’t give the bucket, see what I’ll do.” The comment reportedly upset Risha, leading her to push Gilli twice in frustration — an act considered a serious violation of the Bigg Boss rulebook, which strictly prohibits physical aggression.

Details of the Complaint

The complaint submitted to the Women’s Commission accuses Gilli Nata of touching Risha’s clothes without her consent during the heated exchange. It alleges that his behaviour amounted to disrespect towards a woman and was inappropriate for a televised family show. Upon receiving the complaint, the Women’s Commission reviewed available video footage from the episode. Initial observations reportedly did not reveal clear evidence of misconduct by Gilli. However, the case has now been forwarded to the Commission’s legal team for thorough scrutiny.

Inside the House After the Incident

When host Kichcha Sudeep addressed the matter on the weekend episode, he questioned Gilli about his reactions and warned Risha for physically pushing him. Risha received a “Red Card” warning for breaking house rules, while Gilli continued in the competition.
