Jan. 25 — Cambria County Crime Stopper is offering rewards for helping find the gunman who shot and killed a man in the Moxham section of Johnstown on Monday.

The shooting occurred around 2:00 pm on the 600 block of Park Avenue near St. Patrick’s Roman Catholic Church and Park Avenue School in Greater Johnstown.
Authorities found a man in his 40s dead from multiple gunshot wounds inside the car.
The identity of the deceased man has yet to be released on Tuesday. Cumbria County Coroner Jeffrey Lees told the Tribune-Democrat that an autopsy was still underway as of late afternoon.
A press conference will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the coroner’s office at the Central Park Complex in downtown Johnstown.
After the shooting, the suspect was seen fleeing towards Coleman Avenue. He is described as a fair-skinned black man about 5 feet 8 inches tall. Police said he was wearing a black shirt.
Police released a photo of the suspect on Tuesday.
Shortly after the incident, Johnstown Police issued a stop order to all Cumbria County departments against a red SUV carrying two suspected armed and dangerous persons. The order was later lifted.
