Deepinder Goyal, Vice Chairman Eternal

In a major board-level reshuffle on Wednesday (January 21, 2026), Deepinder Goyal has been appointed as the Vice Chairman and Director on the Boardof Eternal Ltd (Formerly known as Zomato Limited) effective upon shareholders’ approval.
The online delivery firm, which operates food delivery unit Zomato and quick commerce firm Blinkit, reported a sequential rise in third-quarter profit on surging demand for quick-delivery services.
Mr. Dhindsa, the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Blinkit, sets the vision and leads product development, while overseeing strategy. Before founding Blinkit, Mr Dhindsa served as the head of international expansion at Zomato, where he was responsible for the company’s global expansion strategy. In 2013, Mr. Dhindsa, along with Saurabh, founded Blinkit.
Mr. Goyal has been appointed for a period of 5 years from the date of receiving shareholder approval. Before founding Zomato, he worked with Bain and Company.
Eternal, which owns the Zomato and Blinkit brands, has reported 72.88% rise in consolidated net profit at ₹102 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2026 as against profit of ₹59 crore a year ago.
