As per early estimates on Sacnilk, ‘Dhurandhar’ earned around Rs 4.75 crore net on its thirty-third day at the Indian box office. This figure is on par with its fifth Monday collections. The Hindi film, which had been raking in double-digit figures throughout most of its box office run, slipped into single digits as it entered its fifth week.

The film has enjoyed an undisputed run at the box office, beginning with an estimated Rs 207.25 crore in its opening week. Week 2 saw the film pick up pace and reach a new high, earning an estimated Rs 253.25 crore. Collections gradually declined to Rs 172 crore in Week 3, followed by Rs 106.5 crore in Week 4.As per current trends, the film’s total Week 5 collections now stand at an estimated Rs 43.75 crore. With two days still to go before the fifth week concludes, it remains to be seen whether the movie will cross the Rs 50 crore mark. This will also mark the first time the film has failed to surpass the Rs 100 crore mark in its weekly collections.

Despite facing a drop in numbers, ‘Dhurandhar’ still managed to outperform the other films also playing in cinemas. While the film nearly has been earning in the Rs 4 crore range, its competitors have been struggling to stay above the Rs 1 crore mark. The war drama ‘Ikkis’ earned an estimated Rs 1.5 crore on Tuesday.

The Hollywood film ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’ has continued its steady run at the Indian box office. The film that released ahead of the Christmas week, has been consistent in its daily collections, keeping the numbers well above the Rs 1 crore mark. On Tuesday, the film added another Rs 1.65 crore to its kitty, thus adding to the impressive Rs 177.15 crore haul at the Indian box office. The film’s gross collections on the other hand, have shot past the Rs 200 crore mark, to earn an estimated Rs 216 crore.

Besides becoming Ranveer Singh’s highest grossing film of his career, the ‘Dhurandhar’ is also set to overthrow ‘RRR’ which currently occupies the fourth spot on the list. The 2022 SS Rajamouli directorial boasts of a worldwide collection of of Rs 1230 crore.
