Passers-by, residents of nearby homes, and college students can often be seen lounging in the evenings. Especially for shoppers, it has become a place to relax and grab a bite.
Cheese rolls, sugarcane juice, samosas, frankies, South Indian tiffins, teas, coffees and many other delicious items. If you want to eat affordable vegetable biryani, chapattis and curry, this is the place to go. We loved the iced coffee served in kulhad and drizzled with chocolate syrup. La Chai De! also serves ‘paan’ chai, mango chai, mocktails, momos and sandwiches.
There are several newly built chairs that imitate the seats at the bus stop, so you can eat while standing. You may see women getting their nails done at reasonable prices at nail parlors in the area.
Parking can be a problem, but I wholeheartedly recommend a cheap street food place. I was told that the place has recently turned into a street food place.
