Re-exhibitions in downtown Pleasanton feature some of the city’s most celebrated and eclectic artists, from jewelry makers to painters to photographers.
Known as “Imagination Expressed,” the exhibition brings together the work of members of the Pleasanton Art League. The showcase, now in its 15th year, will be held in the Museum of Main. It is free and open to all visitors and currently he is running until March 25th.
“Every time we host ‘Imagination Expressed,’ it’s a little different than the last time,” said museum curator Ken McLennan. “The composition of artists is changing, established PAL members are experimenting with new techniques and media, and new talent is emerging for the first time.”
“These artists are part of the community, and their work is part of the cultural history that the people of Pleasanton and Tri Valley are making, even as we speak,” McLennan added.
Guests can view a variety of art mediums including paintings, drawings, photography, and ceramics. Each piece is available for purchase through art organizations.
