The Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) at Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) has opened admissions for its next cycle of short-term, skill-based certificate courses scheduled to begin in January 2026. These programmes are part of the Livelihood Business Incubator (LBI) initiative and are aimed at building practical, industry-oriented competencies for students, jobseekers, freelancers, and early-stage entrepreneurs.

Applications can be submitted until November 30, 2025, at 6 pm. Classes for all courses are expected to commence in January 2026, according to an official statement.

According to JMI, the upcoming courses are designed to provide hands-on training across high-demand domains such as digital marketing, data science, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, media editing, and office productivity tools. The certificate awarded upon successful completion will be issued by Jamia Millia Islamia.

Here’s a brief list of courses , out of the total 42 courses, that are being offered —

The institute has announced the following short-term certificate courses for the January 2026 cycle:

AI & ML – Basic Level 3 months 9:00–10:00 PM (Mon–Fri) Online Rs 15,000
Cyber Security (Evening Batch) 3 months 6:00–7:00 PM (Mon–Fri) Online Rs 8,000
Audio & Video Editing 3 months 5:00–6:00 PM (Mon–Fri) Online Rs 8,000
Learn UI/UX 3 months 7:00–8:00 PM (Mon–Fri) Online Rs 15,000
Learn Excel – Beginners 3 months 6:00–7:00 PM (Mon–Fri) Online Rs 5,000
Advanced Excel 3 months 9:00–10:00 PM (Mon–Fri) Online Rs 8,000

Interested candidates can register through the QR code provided in the official announcement on X; or on the official website of JMI. As per the institute, early registration is recommended to secure a seat in the preferred course.
