When I read my readers’ admiration for publishing Westview News for 21 years and their despair, knowing that Attorney Arthur Schwartz was trying to alienate my writers and steal my papers, I was I have various emotions.
It makes me sick that he committed a terrible crime against me on my 95th birthday. I’m tired of the duality of someone who thought they were intelligent enough to be.
I’m sitting and working on the December and January issues, trying to contain my anger. If Arthur Schwartz wanted to start a newspaper, he should have picked his new name and found his own staff, contributors, and advertisers for crime.
What Arthur did was unconscionable and reprehensible, and resulted in his being disqualified and his license to practice law.
I hired a law firm to stop Arthur and his co-conspirators from committing further crimes against me. A cease and desist letter to Arthur, Kim and Liza requesting that they cease using Westview News and my proprietary materials (that I have collected over the past 21 years) and cease contact with my writers and advertisers. but they refused.
Over the years, Arthur used his legal skills and a modicum of dexterity to try to seize control of Westview.
In the early days, Arthur (he was always running for something) offered $30.000.00 worth of advertising in my paper for 36 months in exchange for 1% ownership of Westview. made me an offer. He was trying to put a legal hook on my paper.
Luckily for me (and you), Arthur never hit the threshold to acquire a 1% interest in WestView and signed a “contract” (which I claim I never signed). ) is meaningless and I retain full ownership of my paper (our paper).
