
The CEO of Family Promise of Grand Rapids steers the organization on a national level.
On Tuesday, January 24, Grand Rapids’ Family Promise Board of Directors announced that Sherrill Shuke, CEO of Family Promise of Grand Rapids, has been promoted to CEO of Family Promise National.
Mr. Schuch, who will remain local until his new position, will oversee more than 200,000 volunteers in 43 states as CEO of Family Promise National. She will begin her new role on March 1st.

Schuch has grown the organization into one of the nation’s largest Family Promise affiliates, with over $10 million in revenue and assets, and offers a full range of sustainable programs, according to a Family Promise of Grand Rapids statement. .
In his role as CEO of Family Promise of Grand Rapids, Schuch leveraged community resources to advance the organization’s mission and tapped diverse sources of funding, including foundations, corporate donors, and government funds.
Schuch will assume the CEO role at the national level, but thanks to her continued work in the Grand Rapids area, Schuch will be able to bring national best practices to Western Michigan and help improve housing for local communities. can.
