MPBSE 2026 Exams: MP Board revises Class 10th, 12th dates

MPBSE Class 10th, 12th Schedule 2026: The Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) has issued a revised timetable for the 2026 board examinations on its official website, mpbse.nic.in. According to the revised schedule, the annual DPSE examination remains unchanged, while the board has introduced adjustments to the exam dates for Class 10 and Class 12.

The Board has shifted the Class 10 Hindi paper to March 6 from the earlier February 11 date, while the Class 12 Urdu and Marathi papers will also be held on March 6 instead of February 9, and the Class 12 Hindi paper has been rescheduled to March 7 from February 7.

All exams will run from 9 am to noon, with candidates required to reach centres by 8:30 am; entry will close at 8:45 am, answer sheets will be distributed at 8:50 am, and question papers at 8:55 am. Practical examinations for both Class 10 and Class 12 will take place between February 10 and March 10 at designated centres. In order to pass the MPBSE Class 10 and 12 examinations, candidates must attain a minimum of 33 percent in each subject as well as an aggregate score of 33 percent overall.

The MP board Class 10 and 12 results for the 2025 board exams were announced on May 6. On the basis of the result, the overall pass percentage for Class 10 stood at 76.22 per cent, while Class 12 recorded a pass percentage of 74.48 per cent. The Second Chance Examination for Class 10 students was conducted between June 17 and June 26, 2025. For Class 12 students, the exam was held from June 17 to July 5, 2025. Starting 2025, the MP Board replaced the traditional supplementary exam system with the newly launched ‘second chance examination.’

Pragya Jaiswal topped the high school or Class 10 exam by scoring 100 percent marks. Girls continued to outperform boys, securing a pass percentage of 68.42 per cent, compared to 60.54 per cent for boys. In 2025, the MPBSE board exam, the performance of government schools was better than private schools across the state.
