Palash Muchhal gets relief from Bombay HC in Rs 10 crore defamation case against Vidnyan Mane after allegations of cheating on Smriti Mandhana

Singer and composer Palash Muchhal had filed a defamation suit against Vidnyan Mane after he alleged that he was found red handed in bed with another woman a day before his wedding to Indian cricketer Smriti Mandhana. The Bombay High Court has now granted interim relief to Palash in the wake of these explosive allegations surrounding his cancelled wedding with Smriti. The court has restrained Vidnyan Mane from making or publishing any further statements about Palash, noting that the remarks in question could cause serious harm to an individual’s reputation and dignity.According to updates shared by paparazzo handle Viral Bhayani, the High Court observed in its order that unchecked public statements of this nature may inflict lasting reputational damage. In order to prevent further harm, the bench directed Mane to refrain from issuing any additional comments about Palash until further hearings in the matter.

Did Palash Muchhal Cheat On Smriti Mandhana? Speculations Go Viral!

Reacting to the court’s direction, Palash’s counsel, advocate Shreyansh Mithare, described the development as a significant relief. He stated that the ruling effectively halts what he termed false and defamatory remarks, restoring a measure of fairness amid the escalating controversy. The dispute erupted a few months after Palash and Smriti’s reported wedding was called off. Vidnyan Mane, who claimed to have attended the wedding festivities, levelled serious accusations against the musician. Alleging infidelity, Mane claimed that Palash was caught with another woman during the celebrations. “I was at the wedding celebrations (November, 23, 2025) when he was caught red-handed with another woman in bed. Bhayanak scene tha, he was beaten up by the Indian female cricketers. The entire family is chindi chor. I thought he’d get married and settle in Sangli, but it has completely backfired on me,” Mane said, as quoted by Hindustan Times.Mane has maintained that he shares a childhood bond with Smriti and was introduced to Palash through the Mandhana family. In addition to the infidelity claims, he has accused Palash of cheating him of over ₹40 lakh and stated that he has filed a complaint in Sangli. He further asserted that he possesses evidence to support his allegations.“I have saved all proofs including my chats and phone conversations that I’m willing to share with the police and the media,” he added.Following these claims, Palash issued a public rebuttal via Instagram Stories, firmly denying the accusations. Calling them unfounded, he wrote, “In light of the allegations made by Sangli-based Vidnyan Mane on social media, I wish to state that these claims against me are entirely baseless and factually incorrect.”“They have been made with malicious intent to tarnish my reputation, and they will not go unchallenged. My lawyer, Shreyansh Mithare, is exploring all legal avenues, and this matter will be dealt with strictly through the appropriate legal channels,” he added.
