Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s reception: ‘Kingdom’ actor says ‘Udhar dekh’ to paparazzi
Newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda hosted a grand reception, drawing a star-studded crowd. A playful moment saw Vijay humorously directing a photographer, which quickly went viral. Both stars looked resplendent in traditional attire, with Rashmika in a red Mysore silk saree and Vijay in a classic veshti and kurta. Fans eagerly await their on-screen reunion in ‘Ranabaali’.

Newlyweds Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda hosted a grand reception last night at the Taj Krishna Hotel. The reception was a star-studded event where celebrities and political figures attended to bless the couple.

What did Vijay tell the paps

A small moment from the reception has gone viral on the internet. It happened while the couple posed for photos with the photographers. In a video shared by Instant Bollywood on Instagram, the newlyweds were standing among the paps. The ‘Kingdom’ star noticed that one photographer was not looking at the camera. As soon as he saw him, he called him out in a fun way and said, “Udhar dekh!” telling him to (look there).

The couple later posed gracefully with them. After the click, the couple appreciated the photographers for their work.

Traditional outfits and elegant looks

For the reception, the couple chose traditional outfits. Rashmika Mandanna looked stunning in a red Mysore silk saree. Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda complemented her in a classic veshti and angavastram. He paired it with an ivory silk kurta.The ‘Animal’ actor’s look also featured the Gandabherunda motif, a mythical two-headed bird. She paired the saree with gold jewellery. Her hair was braided and decorated with flowers. Additionally, she put a bindi and sindoor to complete her bridal look. Vijay, on the other hand, looked simple yet royal in his traditional attire.Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda got married on February 26 in Udaipur. The wedding was a private affair with close friends and family.

On-screen comeback

On the work front, the couple will be together, returning to the big screens after a long time. They were last seen in ‘Geetha Govindam’ and ‘Dear Comrade’, making their on-screen return a highly hyped affair, especially for their fans. They will be seen in the period action drama film, ‘Ranabaali’ directed by Rahul Sankrityan.It will release on September 11, 2026.
