Shark Tank India is currently in its fifth season, and each episode is giving fans something to talk about. However, the makers may have fresh competition, as actor Suniel Shetty is stepping in with a business show of his own. The trailer for Bharat Ke Super Founders recently dropped, and the show follows a similar format, with entrepreneurs from across the country pitching their businesses and ideas.

The trailer shows Suniel talking about supporting a billion dreams, and revealing that he plans to do it with the help of several Indian business tycoons. These tycoons have come together to create an investment pool worth Rs 100 crore, which means that whoever is able to impress them, is taking home an handsome amount of money. The trailer also introduces the viewers to some of the contestants, which also include entrepreneurs as young as an 11 year old.

The list of business tycoons who are going to on the panel include Dr A. VeluMani (Creator, Thyrocare and Director, AVMSmile), Nitish Mittersain (Founder & CEO, Nazara Technologies), Dr Aarti Gupta (Chief Investment Officer, Anikarth Ventures), Shanti Mohan (Founder & CEO, LetsVenture Trica), Aditya Singh (Co-Founder, All In Capital), and Ankur Mittal (Partner, Physis Capital and Co-Founder, Inflection Point Ventures).

Talking about Bharat Ke Super Founders, Suniel Shetty said in a statement, “I’ve always believed that success comes from consistency, not shortcuts. That’s what Bharat Ke Super Founders stands for. It’s about putting in the work, falling down, learning, and getting back up again. To be able to guide founders in a space where real ideas are taken seriously and backed with real capital is something I truly value.”

Shetty himself has been an active investor in start-ups and has often talked about his mentality behind investing in ideas. While talking to GQ India, Shetty said, “I am not only looking for unicorns; anybody who is successful and knows that they have to bring food home at the end of the day is attractive to me. For me it’s intent over ideas, people over presentation, and asking ‘why?’ instead of ‘what?’ I am not necessarily looking at evaluation, and I try to value the relationship with the person and their vision.”
