Days after teasing fans with glimpses of his next ambitious project, SS Rajamouli has finally unveiled the much-awaited teaser of his upcoming magnum opus Globetrotter. The film brings together a powerhouse cast—global icon Priyanka Chopra, Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu, and actor-filmmaker Prithviraj Sukumaran.
The teaser was launched at a massive event in Hyderabad’s Ramoji Film City, where an estimated 50,000 fans gathered. Entry was permitted only to those carrying a special passport-style pass containing exclusive event details. The teaser shows Mahesh Babu riding a bull carrying a trishul in his hand.
Rajamouli shared the teaser and wrote, “Here you go… VARANASI to the WORLD…”
The grand launch saw the presence of the film’s lead cast, director SS Rajamouli, and celebrated music composer MM Keeravani. Actress Shruti Haasan, who has lent her voice to one of the Telugu tracks in the film, also delivered a live performance that electrified the crowd.
Ahead of the event, Mahesh Babu had teased the announcement in a video shared by Hotstar, saying, “For months you have been asking and now it’s time. On November 15, the world will take its first step into our story. Experience what we have been creating with all our hearts.”
For those who couldn’t attend, the mega event was livestreamed on Jio Hotstar and simultaneously on the YouTube channel of US publication Variety, giving global audiences a first look at Rajamouli’s next cinematic extravaganza.
