NEW DELHI: A 31-year-old YouTuber was found dead under mysterious circumstances on a vacant plot of land owned by Delhi Development Authority in the Patparganj industrial area on Sunday. The deceased has been identified as Pushpendra, also known as Akash, a resident of Mandawali in east Delhi.According to police, information regarding the body of an unidentified man, estimated to be around 30 to 35 years old, was received at the Patparganj industrial area police station. A police team found the body lying on a vacant DDA plot near the Telco T-point. Subsequently, the crime team and forensic team were called to the scene to conduct a detailed inspection. The body was later identified on Monday. He had reportedly been missing from his home in Mandawali since Saturday and the family had filed a missing persons complaint.

Claiming inaction by the police, the friends and family of the deceased had gathered outside Mandawali police station. The body has been handed over to the family for the last rites. Police said that, prima facie, no signs of foul play or suspicion of homicide have been found.Further inquest proceedings into the circumstances surrounding the death of the YouTuber are underway.His family said that he had over 4 lakh subscribers on his YouTube and other social media channels.“He used to make fashion-related videos and promote his clothing business through social media. His family members said Akash had more than 4 lakh subscribers,” the officer said.
