Axis Bank to raise upto ₹5,000 crore via private placement

Axis Bank to raise upto ₹5,000 crore via private placement

In July 2025 the bank’s board had approved for raising of ₹35,000 crore by issue of debt securities on a private placement basis.

Axis Bank Ltd has announced to raise up to ₹5,000 crore by issuing Fully paid, Senior,Rated, Listed, Unsecured, Taxable, Redeemable, Long Term Non-Convertible Debentures (Series – 9) on a private placement basis. This includes base issue of ₹2,000 crore and green shoe option to retain oversubscription of ₹3,000 crore.

In July 2025 the bank’s board had approved for raising of ₹35,000 crore by issue of debt securities on a private placement basis. Axis Bank shares on Friday closed at ₹1275.35, down 0.77% on the BSE.
