A few days before Diwali, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) unveiled a bunch of offers for both new users and long-time subscribers, along with some special benefits for senior citizens. Part of the state-run telecom network’s Diwali Bonanza, the company said that these promotional offers will be available from October 18 to November 18, 2025. Here’s a quick look at BSNL’s new Diwali offers.
BSNL Re 1 Diwali Bonanza plan
As part of its festive offers, BSNL has launched a new Re 1 Diwali 4G plan that offers one month of free mobile services for new customers. Some of the key benefits of this plan include 2GB of high-speed 4G data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS every day and free SIM card activation. This plan is only available for new users and can be availed before November 15.

Diwali lucky draw offers
BSNL says customers who recharge with a plan of Rs 100 or above using the Selfcare app or website on October 18, October 19, and October 20, 10 random users will automatically be eligible for a lucky draw and have a chance to win silver coins of 10 grams each every day.
As for corporate customers, the network operator is offering a discount of 10 per cent on the first month for those who buy a minimum of 10 new post-paid BSNL connections along with one FTTH connection.
Gift a recharge benefits
BSNL also introduced a new “Gift a recharge” initiative, which allows any BSNL customer to gift a prepaid recharge to their family or friends as a Diwali present.
Available via the BSNL Selfcare app, customers can send a recharge to any other BSNL number with a personalised message. With every recharge a user gifts, the network operator says it will give a 2.5 per cent discount on the gifted amount to the receiver. However, the promotional offer will only be valid till November 18.
BSNL senior citizen entertainment pack
For seniors, BSNL said it is launching a new special entertainment-focused plan called the Senior Citizen Plan. Available for customers above 60 years of age, the new plan is priced at Rs 1,812 and has a validity of one year. Some benefits include 2GB of 4G data per day, unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS every day and a free SIM.
It also comes bundled with a BiTV premium subscription for six months and will be available till November 18.
