The Indian School of Business (ISB) has unveiled the Taparia Family Scholarships — an unprecedented philanthropic commitment to its scholarship programme. Starting this academic year, the initiative will fully fund the tuition of 10 students annually, ultimately supporting 50 students over the next five years.

The scholarships will be offered to deserving candidates enrolled in ISB’s flagship one-year Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGP) and the newly introduced Post Graduate Programme in Management for Young Leaders (PGP YL).

Funded by Mahavir Prasad Taparia and Shivratan Taparia of Supreme Industries Limited, this multi-year initiative aims to broaden access to world-class management education. The gift agreement was formalised in the presence of key representatives from the Taparia family and ISB leadership, including Dean Madan Pillutla.

Mahavir Prasad Taparia remarked, “Education has always been the foundation of progress. Through this scholarship, we hope to empower ISB students to pursue their aspirations and contribute meaningfully to India’s future.”

Dean Pillutla expressed gratitude for the Taparia family’s generosity, stating that the scholarships are a testament to their shared commitment to academic excellence and inclusive access to education.

This initiative reinforces ISB’s ongoing efforts to expand financial support for deserving students and to foster the next generation of responsible, impactful leaders.
