SSC JE 2025, Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, other exams in December; self slot selection dates

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the SSC exam calendar for the examinations set to be held in December 2025. Candidates can check the exam dates on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in.

According to the SSC exam calendar, the junior engineer – civil, mechanical, electrical – examination, 2025 (Paper-I) will be conducted from December 3 to December 6. The sub-inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2025 (Paper-I) will be held from December 9 to 12.

The self slot selection for these exams are underway. The Commission has provided the facility of choosing the examination city and date as per candidates’ choice. For availing this facility, the candidates will have to login into the candidate portal and exercise their choice for slot selection for the examinations.

For the junior engineer – civil, mechanical, electrical – examination, 2025 (Paper-I), candidates have time till November 13 (11 pm).

Festive offer

The window to select the slot for sub-inspectors in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces Examination, 2025 (Paper-I) will open on November 17 and close on November 21 (11 pm).

The option once submitted by the candidates will be considered final. No further changes to the selected slot will be allowed, and no representation in this regard will be entertained by the Commission, SSC said while announcing the dates of self-slot selection.

If a candidate fails to exercise the slot selection option within the time limit as stipulated by the Commission, the system will automatically allocate an available slot in any of the cities opted during the application window or as per availability. The decision of the Commission regarding the slot allocation shall be final and binding, it added.
